Airport Link Tunnel
In 2011 Side by Side Group were contracted once again by Theiss, John Holland for the scaffolding installation, scaffolding access and underground scaffolding of the Airport Link Tunnel Project in Brisbane, Qld. Side By Side group has gained extensive amounts of knowledge and background in the execution of tunnel construction.
Clem 7
From July 2007- 2010 Side by Side Group were contracted as the Primary Scaffolding company on the Clem 7 Tunnel build in Brisbane, Qld. This also included the construction of the 4,000-tonne, 120-meter Tunnel Boring machine. This Tunnel boring machine was the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere.
Cross River Rail
From 2020 - 2024 Side by Side Group were contracted as Scaffolders for the installation of the tunnel boring machine, scaffolding access and underground services of the Cross River Rail Tunnel Project in Brisbane under CPB.
Boral
Side by Side Group has held the Boral contract for 22 years (ongoing), the work conducted in Berrima, NSW consists of scaffolding builds around the clock and maintenance in major shutdowns.
Rio Tinto
Side by Side Group successfully won a 5 year contract for the installation of scaffolding in major Gladstone Shutdown projects on Calciners, Boilers and HRSG. This work conducted is internal and external.

Side by Side Group was successful in being awarded contracts for Hung Scaffolding at R.G Tanna wharf in Gladstone, Qld. Hung scaffolding is a technique we deem best suited for under structure repairs such as the execution of paint blast and remedial works of the Gladstone Ports Corporation wharf.
West Gate Tunnel Project
